What stays on your phone, and the one thing that doesn’t.
Impostr: Sus Zoo is made by Engineers Space LLC. This page describes the mobile app.
Your game stays on your device
Player names, game settings, the night's scores and which words your table has already seen are stored on the phone running the app. They are not sent to us. There is no Impostr account, no sign-up and no login. Rounds can be played with the device offline.
The app contains no advertising and no advertising tracking, and we do not build a profile of you.
Purchases
There is one optional purchase in the app. Apple or Google takes the payment — we never see your card details.
We use RevenueCat to check that a purchase is genuine, to restore it when you reinstall, and to understand how many people are buying. RevenueCat receives a purchase record and a randomly generated app identifier, along with technical information the purchase service needs, such as platform, app version, store and currency.
We do not send RevenueCat your player names, your contact details or any advertising identifier. Purchase data is encrypted in transit. Their own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
So: almost everything stays on your phone, but purchase records and sales analytics genuinely do leave it. We would rather say that plainly than claim we collect nothing.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its local game data from your device, subject to any backup your operating system keeps.
To have the purchase-service record deleted, email support@impostr.online with the store you bought from, the purchase date and an order reference if you have one. Because the record is anonymous, we may need to ask for more detail to find it. Never send us a password or card number.
Deleting that record does not delete anything Apple or Google holds, and it is not a refund — those are handled by the store that charged you.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase-service records for as long as we need them to provide and restore the unlock, answer support requests and meet our legal obligations. Anything you send to support is used to answer you, and never for advertising.
Children
The app has no social features, no chat, no user accounts and no user-generated content. The words come from banks we write and bundle with the app.
Changes
If these practices change we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
